On the banks of the Brooks River, a brown bear resting. So it could go on forever: When even the Sun is shining, the better. (00001137)

Brown Bear/Ursus arctos horribilis Surprised brown bear on the river bank The Brown

Description: Brown Bear/Ursus arctos horribilis

Surprised brown bear on the river bank

The Brown Bear was very successful in salmon hunting. Now he rests extensively. When the summer begins, the brown bear takes a very varied food to itself. He eats everything he finds and is quite thick. Salmon are of course in this context, something very special for him. He lies down in the summer months to a large possible fat deposits. During the winter months, however, the brown bear eats anything. He then rests, and benefits from its energy reserves.
