(00001235) Description: Naknek Lake/Katmai/Alaska A "Williwaw" announces itself on Naknek Lake The flaming sky is extraordinary. The colors change constantly and are becoming more intense. There is a dreamlike mood. After a few minutes, the colors fade and immediately takes a storm on. The mirror-like lake turns into an inferno and it is only to see meter high whitecaps. The storm - a so-called "Williwaw" takes 24 hours with wind speeds up to 90 miles an hour.
